National Maritime Museums’ environmental policy

Based on regulations and other demands, our environmental policy is to:

• Reduce our negative effect in energy consumption, travel and transport, operations and maintenance; similarly with waste disposal, use of chemicals, and during preservation and use of the collections such as the museum vessels.
• Take all opportunities to increase environmental awareness among our visitors and co-workers, keep employees constantly informed about environmental issues and our eco-friendly activities and policies.
• Demand eco-friendly operations when purchasing goods and services
