National Maritime Museums first in Scandinavia with environmental certification

As part of only a few museums in the world to receive this honour, the Vasa Museum, the Maritime Museum, and the Naval Museum in Karlskrona, have become environmentally certified in accordance with the voluntary and international standard ISO 14001.

‘Being certified, we promise to continue the good work and to continuously improve our environmental performance. An environmental certification is an important confirmation of effective work with an eye to the future,’ says Robert Olsson, Director of National Maritime Museums.
