The Swedish National Maritime Museums is a government agency. This means that messages sent to us as a rule become public documents that are recorded, registered and which may be disclosed on request, in accordance with the principle of public access to public records. At any such request, a confidentiality assessment is made in accordance with the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act. If there are grounds for secrecy, personal data will not be disclosed. Unless it has a decisive impact on the confidentiality assessment, the Swedish National Maritime Museums is not entitled to investigate who the data is disclosed to.
